Why is this important?
For personal success and a fulfilling artistic career, different conditions are required at every stage and age, going beyond purely musical work, and in turn, influencing it. Often, outdated ideas and unfavorable concepts are present that do not align with one's personal identity and hinder artistic expression.
Support and services:
It is important to convey background knowledge about physical, social, and psychological facts in a way that is understandable and relatable to everyone. For this, we conduct exercises from Dispokinesis. Lectures are always practice-oriented and tailored to the needs of the audience.
Performance and Competition Coaching
What we do:
In a group workshop or a class (4-10 people) or individual coaching, all relevant aspects of performances, auditions and competitions are discussed, and tools and methods to handle them more effectively are learned.
Why is this important?
Concerts, auditions, and competitions are special situations where each person reacts differently. These require special preparation and reflection, as well as an understanding of the body, its reactions, and how to manage distracting thoughts or use coping mechanisms.
Support and services:
Dispokinesis and breathing offer regulatory options specifically designed for the needs of musicians.
Through improved awareness of what one is doing and the resulting effects, the improvement that arises helps develop a sense of self-worth, which enables convincing performance, both generally and especially in the decisive moment.
Individual Coaching
What we do:
In these 60-90 minute sessions, we address your individual questions in detail and take a comprehensive look at your situation as an artist.
Why is this important?
Together, we aim to identify and change whatever is holding you back from playing your instrument better and making music with greater satisfaction. As a musician, you perform in public and operate in a highly performance-oriented and competitive environment. Opportunities to quietly focus on your creativity and exchange ideas with a knowledgeable person are rare.
Support and services:
We conduct an anamnesis interview and a posture analysis—both with and without your instrument. Special exercises in lying, sitting, and standing positions help to make unfavorable physical postures or movements more conscious and correct inappropriate ideas and concepts. This allows for new experiences that have a direct impact on your artistic musical performance.
These sessions can take place in person or via Zoom.
Your Personal Coaching Day
What we do:
A full day dedicated entirely to you, followed by post-session support and feedback after three weeks.
Why is this important?
Sometimes, it is essential to counterbalance the demands of professional life, especially when working constantly in a team setting—whether in an orchestra, chamber music ensemble, or teaching environment—where your musical performance is continuously evaluated. To truly grow, you need time, space, and a creative atmosphere for self-awareness, reflection, and reorientation.
Support and services:
Together, we determine which topics to focus on and how to work on them. You will receive:
- A comprehensive posture and movement analysis, both with and without your instrument
- Tailored exercises designed to meet your specific needs
- An analysis of your practice habits with concrete improvement suggestions
- Breathing and finger exercises
- Guidance on optimal recovery techniques
By incorporating these insights, you will enhance your sound and deepen your musical expression.
